Design Concept
Curved raw denim hems reveal a fitted black short layer beneath, creating a compact contrast between loose and close-fitting shapes. HACKWRENCH brings Y2K’s improvised layering into MAGENTA CITY’s experimental wardrobe, with high-waisted denim that can also be styled over separate jeans as shown in the archive.
- High-waisted blue denim outer shorts with curved frayed hems
- Black biker-short underlayer described in the surviving listing
- Button waist, belt loops and pockets
- Historical parameters mark a loose cut, medium thickness and softness, and non-stretch outer fabric
