The world around Hazel
In the RAIN Universe, New Los Angeles rebuilds after the Blackout around the promise of a safer future. Its protected Blue Zone is integrated with Magenta City, a persistent augmented-reality network developed by Hazel Corp and monitored by the company’s Hazel AI.
The network connects infrastructure, surveillance and digital social life. Residents move through a physical city with a virtual layer on top, where avatars and digital identities share space with the people wearing them. Corporate systems become the environment in which daily life unfolds.
The corporate silhouette
